Postler & Jaeckle Corp., a Rochester, NY Mechanical Contracting firm, announced that they have received the 2022 MCAA/CNA Safety Excellence Award.

This prestigious award is presented to the top five mechanical contracting companies in North America, based on the number of hours worked. The award recognizes innovative safety initiatives and safety program success. Postler & Jaeckle Corp. earned the Safety Excellence Award for their company size category (250,001 – 450,000 Work hours). Postler & Jaeckle’s organization-wide safety approach set the company apart.

Postler & Jaeckle Corp. has incorporated safety as a fundamental core value in all their construction processes. P&J established and continually updates its Safety Program to promote the health and well-being of all employees and others on their job sites and in their facilities. In addition to utilizing specific safety and health procedures, policies and training programs that require both management and employee responsibilities, P&J continuously adjusts current best practices, as they regularly assess safety experience, reflect on “lessons learned” and encourage employees to share ideas and report any potential hazards. Given these efforts, new policies and procedures are constantly being implemented to enhance P&J’s Safety Program. Specifically, in 2022 Postler & Jaeckle established a company-wide initiative focused on the health of their employees, which included the installation of AEDs in every fixed office within the company and a wall with the slogan “This is why we work safely.” The program reached all levels of employment by asking for photos of employees with people that are special to them – family, friends, etc.
